Standard functions of a Network Engineer.
Design, configure, test, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN and wireless networks, including routers, firewalls, load balancers hubs, switches, UPS, wireless access points and VoIP devices and other hardware. Architect, create, manage and maintain network for clients (as defined by SLA). Select and implement security tools, policies and procedures in conjunction with company’s security team. Conduct network modeling and analysis to construct a reliable, high performance integrated networks. Select and install appropriate data communications components configured to meet the client’s needs. Maintain firewall and manage security; Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems; Schedule updates and upgrades; Secure access to authorized users and monitor access; Maintain progress and status reports for management. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks and report network operation status based on project management and priority information. Diagnose and replace faulty network hardware components; Maintain, configure, and monitor virus protection software and email applications. Configure Cisco wireless Controller with Access Points. Deploy and manage Cisco call Manager (CUCM), Cisco Call manager Express (CUCME); Configure Cisco VoIP devises; Deploy/monitor of Cisco Umbrella/Open DNS; Configure and Deploy Sophos Firewalls and Endpoint security; Deploy 3CX VOIP Phone Systems; Configure and deploy Ubiquiti Unifi Wireless Access Points and Controllers.
Requires a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and 1 year of experience.
